Highway environmental protection is the main front of ecological civilization construction in transport industry. The 18th CPC National Congress put forward the ecological civilization, which indicat- ed a new direction for the future development of highway transport. Given this, combined with the current situation of environmental protection of highway transport in China, the paper analyzes the problems in ecological civilization construction of highway transport at present, and puts forward the recommendation for promoting ecological civilization construction of highway transport.
