研究探讨了重量知觉对元认知监测和控制的影响。在实验1,被试学习粘贴在不同轻重纸盒上的词对,每对词对学习5s,然后进行学习判断,最后线索回忆。在实验2,被试自定步调(时间不限)学习纸盒上的词对,然后线索回忆。实验1发现,相对于轻纸盒上的词对,被试在重纸盒上词对的学习判断值更高。实验2发现,相对于轻纸盒上的词对,被试在重纸盒上词对分配更多学习时间。结果表明重量知觉影响元认知监控,说明元认知存在具身性。
The present study examined how the weight perception influenced metacognitive monitoring and control via two experiments. In experiment 1, participants learned word pairs attached to either a light(12.47g) or a heavy(62.37g) paper-box at the rate of 5 seconds,and then made judgments of learning for each word pair, and completed a cued-recall test at final. In experiment 2, participants made self-paced study(time is unlimited),then completed a cued-recall test. The results showed that participants made higher JOLs(experiment 1) and allocated more study time(experiment 2) for word pairs attached to heavy paper-box,compared to word pairs on light paper-box. Both of the experiments showed that there was no significant difference in recall performance between the two conditions(heavy vs. light). The results of the present study support the idea that metacognition is embodied.
