His current research interests include nonlinear optical channel, channeJ coding, and information theory. Email： jyzhang@bjtu. edu.cn. Dr. Ivan B. Djordjevic, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of College of Engineering of University of Arizona, with a joint appointment in the College of Optical Sciences. His current research interests include optical networks, FEC, coded modulation, OFDM, and quantum error correction. Dr. Djordjevic is an author/ co-author of over 300 journal and conference pub- lications, 4 books and 13 US patents. He serves as an Associate Editor for IEEE Communications Letters.
