提出了干涉型光纤传感器的相位生成载波(PGC)解调的一种改进方法。在传感信号的幅度较小的情况下,该解调方法只由基频信号对输入信号混频,就可以得到与原始传感信号波形成正比的信号,从而提高整个解调过程的效率。仿真分析及实验结果都验证了改进算法的可行性。在基于马赫-曾德尔干涉仪(MZI)以及外调制方式的信号检测实验中,采用该解调方法所得信号和原信号相关系数达0.99以上。
An improved algorithm of phase generated carrier(PGC) demodulation for optical fiber interferometer sensors is proposed.When the amplitude of the phase disturbance is relatively small,the phase demodulation with this algorithm can be accomplished with the fundamental frequency mixing only,yielding a signal waveform proportional to the original one.Thus the efficiency of the whole demodulation process can be improved.The simulation and experimental results verify the feasibility of the proposed algorithm.In the signal detection experiment based on Mach-Zehnder interferometer(MZI) with the external modulation,the correlation coefficient between the demodulated signal and the original one is greater than 0.99.
