Owning to the disadvantages of the physical and chemistry methods to synthesize nano-materi- al such as using the toxic reagents and consuming more energy, biological synthesis nanomaterial is at- tracted more attention. The bacteria, Pseudomonas alcaliphila MBR, isolated from the bioreactor in our laboratory, could synthesize Se nanoparticles in presence of the selenite solution. The Se nanoparti- cles purified from the reaction solution as the sample were examined to determine its structural charac- teristics. According to the images of scanning electrical microscope (SEM), it was found that the diame- ter of the spherical Se nanoparticles increased with the extension of the reaction time. Over time flower Se material was formed. According to Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) analysis, it was found that the flower type materal was wholly composed of Se element.
