Thiol compounds an forms highly order self-assembled monolayer by Au-S covalent binding to gold surface,so the synthesis of thiol and its derivatives has aroused attracted great attention.In this paper with the different chain length of the biotin-thiol derivatives of intermediate-11-benzyl mercaptoundecanoic-N-hydroxysuccinimide ester has been synthesized through the activation of ester.The molecular structures of product were confirmed by 1H NMR.
