A novel long chain biotin containing mercapto derivative,11-mercaptoundecanoic-（8-biotinoylamido-3,6-dioxaoctyl） amide,was designed and synthesized by activation ester method from bromine eleven acid,benzyl mercaptan,biotin and diamine with ether linkage.The structure was confirmed by 1H NMR and IR.
