The compaction problem of warm asphalt mixture is related to the popularization and application of warm mix asphalt mixture technology. According to the inherent attributes of warm asphalt mixture, it presents the influence of timber, consolidationqiquid flow model and the temperature gradient to compaction mechanism of the warm mix asphalt mixture, and discusses the appropriate problems on warm mix asphalt mixture compaction, from aspects of asphalt pavement materials, consolidation-liquid flow model, the thermal stress field and compaction machinery.
