It is indicated in the empirical study,taking as sample the application for a company as IPO from 2007to2012 in the capital market of China,of the influence of property right nature and earning quality on the choice of securities sponsors for IPO companies from the perspective of government jurisdiction that the local state-owned companies and those with poor earning quality tend to choose the local securities companies as their sponsors at the IPO time.And it is shown in the research that the role the securities sponsor plays is influenced by local government in the IPO course.
