He Lidong , born in 1963. He is a professor and Ph. D supervisor at Beijing University of Chemical Technology. He received his Ph.D from Harbin Institute of Technology in 1999, in the area of turbomachinery. From 2000 to 2002, he was a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Thermal Engineering of Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. Now his main research interests are in active balance technique and suppression methods of fluid induced vibration including honeycomb seals and brush seals for turbomachinery.To whom correspondence should be addressed.
