The essay first makes a standard analysis of the relationship between the situation of higher-education investment and economic growth followed by empirical analysis of the relationship between Xinjiang＇s higher-education investment and economic growth through econometric model.The conclusion has been reached that in the short run,the relationship between Xinjiang＇s higher-education d and economic growth is less obvious but in the long run,GDP will increase by 1.32% when investment is increased by 1% in higher education.In the end,the essay studies the reason behind that and puts corresponding suggestion with respect to Xinjiang＇s higher-education investment and economic growth.
