The nexus between energy consumption and economic development uncovers their independence on each other, thus the study of it contributes to develop under sustainable routes. This paper applies econometrics to analyzes the nexus between energy consumption and economic development of a certain area with the data in mort1 than 3 decades of reform and opening up. It found that there is an stable unidirection runs from the energy consumption to economic development.
