英文摘要：

First of all, three problems on the application of GIS in urban planning are discussed in this paper, including incomplete data sharing mechanism, inadequate combination of GIS with planning and problems in using GIS software. Then the idea of Geodesign is analyzed, based on this system, named Tsinghua Geodesign System, is proposed and implemented. Finally, a case of the application of the system in the landscape conservation planning of Kunming Dianchi basin is introduced. Through the case it shows that the system is a powerful design tool which can enhance the efficiency of planning and the rationality of planning results by combining planning design and planning analysis effectively.
