结合Shear-Warp投影算法、优化的RLE体数据编码算法,进行基于RLE编码的动态快速等值面抽取算法研究。新的算法在没有硬件加速的条件下,使得绘制的速度得到很大地提高。该算法利用Shear—Warp数据投影中的体数据特点,实现了动态快速的等值面抽取,新算法的绘制速度在工程实践中基本可以达到实时的要求。
A fast iso-surface extraction method was presented in a optimized RLE compression from shear-Warp algorithm. This new method has not any lose of resolution. And the rendering speed has been improved much. This algorithm has been used in our project on the PC system. A real time rendering speed achieved whitout any hardware accelerator adapter.
