The deficiency of the heating and refluxing method for preparation sample and the principle and main parameters for preparation sample with microwave are discussed. The influence of microwave power and time to the active SiO2 and Al2O3 fly ash is researched. The determination results of preparation sample by these two methods are compared. It is shown that prepared sample with microwave has equivalent results with heating and refluxing at the best condition of regulated microwave power and time of 210W, 15min. The active SiO2 and Al2O3 of fly ash can be rapidly determined by preparation sample with microwave.
