With the development of economic people are requiring better quality of life, since the rise of today＇s interior design industry, people consume a lot of natural resources to pursue beauty and comfort indoors, and this brought a lot of waste of resources. Especially in China, along with the rapid growth of urban construction, housing and interior decoration were emerging ＂short-lived＂ phenomenon this greatly brought serious damage to the sustainable development of the interior design industry. Based on this, the article uses today＇s interior design sustainable design for the study, explores the inevitability and feasibility of their development, at the same time analyzes the principles and methods of interior design for sustainable development.
