高梯度磁选是回收弱磁性矿物、细粒矿物质的重要手段,为了减轻磁介质机械夹杂问题,设计了超声波在线辅助高梯度磁选装置.利用该装置,研究了超声波频率、功率以及磁选参数对低品位赤铁矿磁选效果的影响.结果发现,合适频率和功率的超声波可以改善磁选质量,这得益于超声波辐射在矿浆中产生的机械振动和空化作用.在超声波频率28kHz、超声波功率120W、磁场强度0.8T等条件下,高梯度磁选所得铁精矿的品位比没加超声波处理的情况提高了2%~3%,回收率提高了1%~2%.
High gradient magnetic separator (HGMS) is the most important means for the recovery of feebly magnetic mineral. One new type of HGMS mounted by an ultrasonic transducer was designed to deal with the low-grade hematite to reduce the agglomeration of mineral particles in the process of magnetic separation. Experimental results show that the uhrasonic emission of proper frequency and pow- er really improve the magnetic separation due to its mechnnical agitation and ultrasonic cavitation. In particular, when ultrasonic wave was applied with a frequency of 28 Kz and a power of 120 W through HGMS under 0.8 T magnetic field, the obtained iron concentrate can increase by 2 - 3 percent in iron grade and by 1 -2 percent in iron recovery.
