A novel chiral bisphosphinite ligand S-cis, trans-SpiroBIP was synthesized. The applications of catalysts, [ Rh （COD） （ R-cis, cis-SpiroBIP） ] BF4, [ Rh （COD） （ S-cis, trans-SpiroBIP） ] BF4 and Ir（R-cis, cis-SpiroBIP）（COD） C1 were researched in catalytic asymmetric hydrogenation.
