This study analyzed major experiences of private sector innovation in America based on 2015 Strategy for American Innovation, summarized its major features, put forward the enlightenments according to the situation of Chinese enterprise innovation, and aimed to provide beneficial theoretical and practical reference for private sector innovation in China.
