Object-based storage system is a new network storage architecture, which combines the advantage of SAN's high performance and NAS's cross-platform data sharing. Searching the object in Objected-based Storage System is the mainly factor affecting performance that the Object IDentification(O/D) is used. By analyzing object searching and identification allocation strategy, the Cooperative management of OID is put forward. This improved method increases efficiently the searching speed.
