英文摘要：

Based on the New Economic Geography wage equation,the paper examined the effect of both local and neighbouring public investment on regional economy by panel data of Chinese provinces from 2003 to 2013. Assuming the marginal product of labor depends on the public investment of each province and the level of educational attainment,it estimated a spatial panel model with fixed time effect. Results showed that in China,although local economy were positively associated with local public investment,there was a negative relationship between local economy and neighbouring public investment,but there was no evidence of technological externalities in regional economic growth.
