为了建立激光法与比重计法粒径分布试验结果的相关关系,通过系列室内颗粒分析试验,描述了激光法与比重计法的粒径分布曲线特征,并探讨了两者之间的差异,定量给出了2种方法测得的砂粒含量、细颗粒含量以及d30,d50粒径之间的相关性,提出了激光法与比重计法测试结果相互转换的方法.试验结果表明:激光法和比重计法测得的颗粒分布曲线特征受土性影响较大;激光法能够给出更加完整的粒径曲线分布图;2种方法测得的砂、黏粒含量值以及d30,d50粒径值不同,但可相互转换.结合Kerry和Konert等提出的建议,激光法和比重计法的测试结果有可能在土体粒级分类图中实现统一.
A series of laboratory tests are performed to establish the correlation of test results from laser and hydrometer method.The characteristics of soil's particle size distribution(PSD) are described by both methods,and the difference between them is explored.The relationships of the sand fraction and the clay fraction between the two methods are discussed quantitatively,and correlation analyses of the size values of d30,d50 are conducted.A new method is proposed to transform the results of these two methods.Test results show that the PSD curves from laser and hydrometer method are affected by soil properties.The laser method can give a more complete particle size distribution curve.Though the content of sand and clay and the size value of d30,d50 from both methods are different,they can be converted mutually.Furthermore,the results from both methods may be consistent in the ternary diagram with the suggestion by Kerry and Konert et al.
