The paper pointed out the importance of human body model in mattress research,summarized development and research status of human body model at home and abroad.Based on adult human body sizes and relative quality distribution,we designed and built a model of the human body,and conducted pressure distribution test for the comparison between human model and medium height man,showed the results that the human body model represents reasonable physiological load conditions.The human body model has an important significance for continuing study of the mattress areas.
