Based on the mattress comfort related research achievements, this paper discussed the mattress comfortableness for non-health people with pressure ulcers, shoulder pain, back pain, waist pain or cardiopulmonary disease and healthy people of different ages gender and somato types studied the special requirement of different people towards mattress. The research provides a theoretical basis for personalized mattress design.
