提出了一种利用光纤空间M—z干涉仪测量压电陶瓷(PzT)相位调制器相移系数的新方法。光纤空间M—Z干涉仪的空间干涉场图与PZT的相移呈单值函数,可有效克服出射光强与相移呈多值函数的问题。设计了测试系统并应用该系统实际测量了一种PZT的相移系数,对结果进行了数字拟合,线性性好。与已有的理论计算和根据光强测量的方法比较,这种方法具有更高的准确性和重复性。PZT相位调制器是光纤干涉系统中的重要组成部分,这种测定相移系数的新方法,可广泛用于各种光纤干涉系统中。
A new method to measure the phase-shift of the piezoelectric phase modulator with spatial fiber M-Z interferometer has been proposed. The fringe pattern of the spatial fiber M-Z interferometer is a single-valued func- tion to the phase-shift coefficient of the PZT, it solves the problem that the output light intensity is the multi-valued function to the phase-shift coefficient of the PZT. An experiment system has been designed, and a phase-shift coeffi- cient of one kind of PZT was gotten. The result shows a good linearity. Comparing with other two methods, which are the theoretic analysis and measuring the power of the light, this method has higher accuracy and repeatability. A piezoelectric phase modulator is an important part of fiber interferometer system; this new method can be applied to various fiber interferometer systems.
