消化系统恶性肿瘤严重威胁人类健康,目前人们对此类恶性肿瘤的发生与发展机制还缺乏完整的认识。Hedgehog信号通路在胚胎发育、成熟器官形成及形态维持中扮演着重要角色。随着研究的进一步深入,人们发现Hedgehog信号通路的异常激活参与多种消化系统恶性肿瘤的形成与发展,例如胃癌、结肠癌、胰腺癌等。探讨Hedgehog信号通路在消化系统恶性肿瘤形成及发展中的作用将有助于消化系统恶性肿瘤发病的分子机制研究,为消化系统恶性肿瘤的早期诊断和治疗提供重要的理论及实验基础。
Digestive malignancy is a significant factor that still threatens human health. The Hedgehog signaling pathway plays a critical role in embryogenesis and the formation and maintenance of adult tissue homeostasis. The Hedgehog signaling pathway is shown to be involved in a variety of carcinogenesis events, such as gastric cancer, colorectal cancer, pancreatic cancer. Here we focused on the role of the Hedgehog signaling pathway in the development and progression of digestive malignancy, which shed light into the underlying molecular mechanism that is important to its early detection and therapeutic strategy.
