从经济增长与环境质量的关系出发,运用因素分解法,将经济增长对环境质量的影响分解为规模效应、结构效应和技术效应。利用我国30个省市、自治区1999~2011年的面板数据,构造环境污染指标并建立面板数据模型,分别从单因素、多因素及其交互效应三个角度考察了三种效应对碳排放的影响以及三者的相对重要性。研究结果表明：第一,对三个因素独立考察时,每个因素都显著影响碳排放,而联合考察三个因素时,规模效应和技术效应对碳排放的影响相对更为重要;第二,规模效应、结构效应都与技术效应存在一定的互补作用。

英文摘要：

Based on the relationship between economic growth and environmental quality and via factor decomposition method, the influence of economic growth on environmental quality is decomposed into scale effect, structure effect and technology effect. This paper, based on the panel data from 30 China provincial cities during 1999 to 2011, constructs environmental pollution index and panel data model, and investigates the influence and importance of the three effects on carbon emission from the perspective of single factor, multiple factor and mutual effects. The research results show that each factor exerts significant influence on carbon emission when investigated separately while the influence of scale effect and technology effect prove more important when investigated jointly, and that both scale effect and structure effect have certain complementary effect on technology effect.
