This paper mainly discusses the semiautomatic fetal head retrieval method for ultrasound images.After reviewing several retrieval methods,this paper proposes a new fast method for ultrasound images based on spatial histogram pyramid, which takes into account the fetal head performance in both image spaces and position information.This method is invariant to translation,scale,rotation.Not only the fully semiautomation be realized,but also the retrieval accuracy be improved by the method suggested.
