From the aesthetic perspective, Tang Ying＇s opera was created during the end of excessive elegance and the beginning of combination of vulgarity and refinement. The opera by Tang Ying could be both shown on the stage and easily understood. With the a- nalysis of the origin and the evolution of Tang Ying＇s opera in my thesis, I drew a conclusion that the performance on the stage and the acceptance of the audiencewould be most favorable foundation for the eternal charm of the opera.
