2-Mercapto-5,7-dimethyl-1,2,4-triazolo[1,5-α]pyrimidine （6） was reacted with chloroacetaldehyde or 1-chloropropan-2-one to yield 5,7-dimethyl-1,2,4-triazolo[1,5-α]pyrimidin-2-ylsulfanyl-acetalde- hyde or 1-（5,7-dimethyl-l,2,4-triazolo[1,5-α]pyrimidin-2-ylsulfanyl）-propan-2-one） （7）. The title compounds 1-（5,7-dimethyl-[1,2,4]triazolo[1,5-α]pyrimidin-2-ylthio）propan-2-one O-methyl oxime （9） and 2-（5,7-dimethyl-[1,2,4]triazolo[1,5-α]pyrimidin-2-ylthio）acetaldehyde O-methyl oxime （10） were synthesized by the reaction of compound 7 with O-alkyl hydroxylamine 5. The primarily bioassay results showed that the title compounds 9 and 10 exhibited good herbicidal activity.
