To study the host cellular proteins interacting with the classical swine fever virus （CSFV） Nproprotein, yeast two-hybrid assay was used to screen from the swine peripheral blood mononuclear cells （PBMC） cDNA expression library. β-Actin was identified as a potential interacting partner of Npro protein. Co-transformation and co-immunoprecipitation （co-IP） analysis also confirmed the interaction between Npro and β-actin. Laser confocal assay showed thatNpro and β-actin colocalized in cytoplasm. These results demonstrated that CSFV Npro interacted with β-actin.
