combining with the literature and practice,found middle cerebral artery occlusion model（ MCAO） with intraluminal thread method in rats remains to be perfect in some ways. Through the research to strengthen the related physiological parameters,modify or introduce instant,objective and repeatable model evaluation means,deepen to explore the diseases,syndrome and treatment of the model,pay attention to nutritional support,it will greatly promote the standardization of the model, improve the success rate of the model, reduce the mortality of rats, highlight the characteristics of the therapy with syndrome differentiation of TCM,and lay a solid foundation for the experimental study of ischemic stroke.
