The backcross progenies were got by backcross of the female produced by common carp and crucian carp with male crucian carp. The morphological characteristics and interior organ structure were measured in one - year - old fish. The main characteristics of backcross progenies were as follows： D. Ⅲ, 15 -18; A. Ⅲ, 4 -6. The number of scales in lateral line is 27 -36 and 5 -6 in the upper and lower. The number of its gill rakers is 28 -33. The ratio of the body length to body height is 2. 35 ±0. 11, to head length is 3. 33 ±0. 13 and to caudal peduncle length is 6. 36 ± 0. 54; the ratio of the head length to eye diameter length is 4. 54 ± 0. 20, to the distance between eyes is 1. 74 ± 0. 07 and to the caudal peduncle height is 1. 96 ± 0. 10 ; the ratio of the caudal peduncle length to height is 0. 90 ± 0. 28; the ratio of the body height to the head height is 1. 59 ± 0. 09.
