In this paper the synthesis methods of silver nanostructure materials, such as nanocubes, triangular nanoprisms, nanorods, nanowires, nanotubes, dentrites, flake, nanodisks, nanobelts, and so on, were introduced, the methods include reducing precipitation, photoinduced conversion, irradiation reduction, electrodeposition, template, microwave-assisted, ultrasonic-assisted, hydrothermal assemble, microemulsion, and so on. The questions existing in synthesis processes were also discussed.
