地形特征线是地貌形态的骨架线,主要包括山脊线、山谷线。本文深入分析和详尽阐述了利用水平曲率导数提取地形特征线算法,首先利用Evans-Young方法求取地形曲率,推导了水平曲率导数的计算公式,再利用三次曲面拟合的方法对水平曲率求导数,根据水平曲率及其导数值得到最终结果。并在不同分辨率的DEM数据上进行了实验,验证了算法的实用性和适用性。
Topographic feature line is the skeleton of the geomorphology,including the ridgelines and valley lines. The in-depth analysis and elaborating of the extracting topography feature line algorithm based on horizontal curvature derivative were carried on in this paper. Firstly,Evans-Young method was used to obtain the terrain curvature and the formula of horizontal curvature derivative was derived. And then,the horizontal curvature derivative was calculated based on the method of cubic surface fitting. The final result was obtained according to the horizontal curvature and its derivative values. DEM data in different resolutions was carried out in the experiments to test the usefulness and applicability of the algorithm.
