巴利尔斯铁矿床位于新疆阿尔泰南缘麦兹盆地,产于康布铁堡组下亚组第二岩性段斜长角闪岩、变粒岩和浅粒岩中,围村蚀变以矽卡岩化为主。本次研究对矿区2号矿体的赋矿围岩斜长角闪岩进行LA—ICP—MS锆石U—Ph年龄测试,29颗锆石的206^Pb/248^U加权平均年龄为(385±1.6)Ma(MSDW=1.2)结合区域年代学资料,表明康布铁体堡组火山形成时代为晚志留至早泥盆世晚期,同时限定巴利尔斯铁矿形成时代晚于385Ma.
Baliersi iron deposit is located in Maizi Basin of the south margin of Altay orogenic belt. The orebodies are hosted in the metamorphosed volcaniclastic-sedimentary rocks of the Upper Silurian- Lower Devonian Kangbutiebao For- marion. The orebodies are largely concordant with the bedding of the strata, and the wall rocks are amphibolite, granulite and leptite. Abundant skarn minerals as garnet, diopside, amphibole, epitote, chlorite are widely distributed around the orebodies. LA-ICP-MS U-Pb dating of zircon from the amphibolite in the No.2 orebody wall rock of Baliersi iron deposit has been carried out in this study. The results show that the weighted average ~'~6PbF~U age of the 32 zircon grains is (385~ 1.6) Ma (MSDW= 1.2). A combination of the ages of Kangbutiebao Formation in the region limits the Kangbutiebao For- mation is of Late Silurian-Early Devonian, and constraining the age of Baliersi iron deposit to 〈 385 Ma.
