MATLAB is a special-purpose computer program optimized to perform engineering and scientific analysis.It＇s easy to use and have a lot of powerful toolboxes which can be used in many aspects of engineering and scientific researches. Electrophoresis is a general experiment method that is widely used in molecular biology to estimate the molecular weight or to separate different substances. Tiffs paper presents the Matlab used in agarose gel inmges proeessing,its marker can give a precise molecular weight of the band. The results show the predicted value well fit the true value.
