为更好地研究霍尔推进器中的低频振荡现象,采用高速相机成像诊断系统进行霍尔推进器放电形貌图像数据采集,运用Matlab图形处理工具和相关函数,对不同真空压力下得到的推进器放电连续高分辨图像进行自动处理.实验结果表明,该方法能很好地分析霍尔推进器低频振荡的2个关键模式:呼吸模振荡和辐条振荡;随气压的增加,呼吸模振荡和辐条振荡的频率发生明显变化.与传统的霍尔推进器低频振荡诊断方法相比,该方法具有使用方便、设备安装简单等优点,为研究推进器低频振荡提供了一种新的观测和数据分析处理方法.
In order to have a better research on low frequency oscillation (LFO) in a Hall thruster, a novel observation and analysis method is developed in this paper. With this method, the high- speed camera diagnostic system is employed to collect morphology data of discharge in the thruster. Then, the continuous and high-resolution images for plasma discharge at different gas pressures are processed using Matlab graphics processing and some corresponding functions. The results show that the two main modes of LFO in Hall thruster, breathing mode and spoke oscillation, can be de- tected and analyzed well by this method. The frequencies of breathing mode and spoke oscillation clearly change with the increase in the gas pressure. Compared to the traditional LFO diagnostic methods, high-speed camera diagnostic systems have unique advantages such as ease of use, simple installation and so on. This provides a new observation and data processing method for investigating LFO in the Hall thruster.
