大亚湾反应堆中微子实验利用大型液体闪烁体探测器探测来自反应堆的中微子。液体闪烁体探测器的能量响应非线性研究是准确重建能量的关键。论文详细论述了能量非线性的来源及测量方法,包括在探测器中利用不同能量的γ源进行刻度,利用本底事例进行刻度,以及在实验室开展的针对不同非线性来源的独立测量,最后通过联合拟合的方法给出测量结果并加以讨论。
The Daya Bay Reactor Neutrino Experiment detects antineutrinos from the nuclear reactors with large scale liquid scintillator detectors.The energy response non-linearity of the liquid scintillator detector is a key for energy reconstruction.In this paper,we discuss the origin and determination of the energy response non-linearity in detail.The measurements include in-situ calibration with different gamma sources in the detector,calibrations using background events in the detector,as well as standalone experiments according to the different origins.A combined fit is applied to the data and the fitted non-linearity curve is shown and discussed.
