A quantum non-demolition measurement protocol was proposed for single-shot readoutof the eigenstate of a single electron spin utilizing a superconducting flux qubit. In this protocol, the flux qubit is used to interact with the electron spin for some time, and then measured for extracting the information of the state of the electron spin. Due to the non-demolition of the measurements, the state of the electron spin can be measured repeatedly many times for achieving a high precision.
