螺旋凹槽结构磁流变阻尼器性能分析与试验

磁流变(MR)液是一种新型智能材料,MR阻尼器可充分发挥半主动控制系统的优越性,因此近年来在结构振动控制领域备受青睐。阻尼力的大小和可调系数是衡量MR阻尼器性能的两个重要指标。该文基于对MR阻尼器流变特性的力学分析,研制了一种活塞表面刻有螺旋凹槽的新型MR阻尼器。通过性能试验及其与理论分析的对比,研究了具有不同螺旋凹槽结构的MR阻尼器的力学性能。结果表明:螺旋凹槽可提高活塞表面的摩擦系数,从而在不降低阻尼力可调系数的前提下提高了最大阻尼力:通过改变螺旋凹槽的螺旋间距以及设置多头螺纹,可获得不同的活塞表面摩擦系数;通过适当改变螺旋升角,可增加MR液的回流,以防止MR液发生沉降。

The magnetorheological (MR) fluid is a kind of novel smart material. MR damper may make full use of superiority of semi-active control system, therefore it has been paid more attention in the field of structural vibration control. Magnitude and amplitude modulation of damping force are two important indexes to evaluate performance of MR damper. Based on mechanical analysis on rheological characteristics of MR damper, a novel MR damper with helix slotted plunger is developed. Through performance experiment and comparison with theoretical analysis, the mechanical performance of MR dampers with various helix slotted plungers is investigated. The results indicate that helix slot may increase friction coefficient on surface of the plunger, and improve the maximum damping force by having no reduction on amplitude modulation of damping force. By changing helix pitch and setting up multiple thread of helix slot, various friction coefficients on surface of the plunger can be achieved. By adjusting helix angle suitably, the reflux of MR fluid may be increased, which may prevent settling of MR fluid.
