One important reason is the lack of organizational legitimacy. The legitimacy derives from the socialized institutional structure, and it＇ s a resource that can help the new venture to access to and mobilize other needed resources. The new venture wants to grow rapidly, it should acquire sufficient resources; the new venture wants to acquire these resources, it should have the adequate legitimacy.
