This article discusses green architectural design and research in China through three aspects. Firstly, it analyzes the adoption of overseas experiences on green architecture with a consideration of Chinese situation in advance. Secondly, the technique of adopting the appropriate technology is proposed. Thirdly, the potential research subjects of the post occupation measurement of green architecture in urban areas and field survey in rural areas are suggested.
