Based on observing the large number of cores and according to well logging data from the on - site testing, the author divide the member of Penglai layer in Luodai Gas Field, and analyze the feature of sedimentary facies and sedimentary microfa- cies. The author consider that the region of interest belongs to the depositional system of shcal water delta, it mainly consists of 7 sedimentary microfacies, as Delta front subfacies of underwater distributaries＂ channel, underwater crevasse channel and splay, underwater interdistributary bay, front mouth sandbar, distal bar, front sheet sand and fore -delta, and it is found out that the underwater distributary channel are mainly developed in the studied area.
