通过旋转挤出加工制备聚乙烯(PE)管.实验结果表明,相对于传统挤出PE管中串晶沿轴向排列,旋转挤出过程中,通过芯棒和口模的旋转,可对聚合物熔体施加环向应力,改变其受力方向,诱使串晶偏离轴向排列,从而提高PE管的环向强度,增加裂纹沿轴向增长的阻力,因而裂纹增长模式从竹子式的轴向增长转变为环向开裂,提高了PE管的耐开裂性能.
In this paper, the polyethylene (PE) pipe was prepared via rotating extrusion. The experimental results showed that compared to the shish-kebab alignment along the axial direction in convention-extruded PE pipe, the polymer melts during the rotation extrusion were subjected to the hoop stress caused by rotational mandrel and die as well as the axial stress, and the resulting stress deviated from the axis. Accordingly, shish-kebab was aligned off the axial direction to enhance the resistance of axial crack growth. As a result, the bamboo-like axial growth was transformed to the hoop propagation and the crack growth resistance of PE pipe was improved.
