通过主观比较从大量的非个性头相关传递函数(HRTF)中选择出近似个性HRTF,以减小通用HRTF合成3D立体声时所产生的定位误差。经过水平面粗略选择、水平面细致选择、中垂面选择三个阶段,以两两比较的竞赛方式从候选的HRTF中筛选出定位性能最好的HRTF,作为近似个性HRTF来合成3D立体声。声学定位实验表明,近似个性HRTF的声音定位性能要明显优于通用HRTF,并且能大幅度减少前后混淆和仰角误差。因此,在个性HRTF难于获得的情况下,主观选择方法是有效的替代方法。
To decrease the localization errors of the 3D sound system,this paper proposes a subjective comparison method to select a near individualized HRTF set from a large number of non-individualized HRTF sets. The method is composed of three selection stages:rough selection in horizontal plane, meticulous selection in the horizontal plane, and meticulous selection in the vertical plane. Through the three selection stages the proposed method selects the HRTF set with the best localization performance from the participant HRTF sets by tournament-style pairwise comparison. The selected HRTF set is used as the near individualized HRTF to synthesize 3D sound. Localization listening tests show that, the near individualized HRTF has better localization performance than the generalized HRTF, and can greatly reduce front-back confusions and elevation errors. Therefore the proposed subjective selection method is an effective substitute when individualized HRTFs are difficult to be obtained.
