高等教育质量和高校毕业生就业问题是高校扩招后备受关注的两大突出问题。基于北京大学2011年“全国高校毕业生就业状况调查”的数据,利用多层线性模型,从个体层面、学校层面和地区层面综合考察毕业生起薪的影响因素之后发现,同个体的人力资本和家庭背景相比,学校类型和学生对学校教育质量的评价是影响毕业生起薪的更加重的因素。毕业生对各自学校的教育质量评价总体不高,且在不同类型的学校间不存在显著差异。不同层次的高校只将教育质量当作学校发展的生命线,全面提升教育质量,最终都可以办出具有特色的一流学校,从而有效提升毕业生的就业竞争力和就、监质量。
The higher education quality and employment of college graduates are two major problems accompanied with the enrollment expansion of universities in China since 1999. By making use of representative data of graduates collected in Beijing in 2011, the hierarchical linear model is applied to examine the relative importance of individual factors and school factors on graduate starting salary. The empirical results indicate that graduates evaluation to the education quality of their graduate universities is not very high, but there are differences between different universities. Only taking education quality as the lifeline of the deveopment and enhancing the education quality comprehensively, can universities with all levels become excellent and distinctive, and can the employment competitiveness and employment quality of graduates be improved.
