Objective：To build an apparatus which can automatically count the jumping in precipitated withdrawal of opioid-denpendent mice.Methods：The apparatus is composed of hardware and software.The hardware is composed of working platforms,vibration transducers,a data acquisition card,a computer and cables which wire each part together.The vibration transducers sensor mechanical vibration generated by mouse jumping and translate the vibration into the electrical signals which are inputted into computer by way of the data acquisition card.The vibration transducers on the surface of working platforms is connected with data acquisition card which is installed in the computer.The software is a program compiled with LabVIEW language.Results：The apparatus counts the mouse jumping exactly and effectively in the real-setting experiment.Conclusion：The apparatus designed to record mouse jumping number shows good validity,supposing that it can eliminate the error and laboriousness by manual recording and enhance the reliability and repeatability of experiment.
