Tele-ultrasound is an important branch of tele-medicine,which can provide high quality medical service from tertiary hospital to remote area patients,and save much treatment time and cost. Meanwhile,the tele-ultrasound can also pro-mote the communication platform between less experienced healthcare workers in remote hospitals and specialists in tertiary hos-pitals,making the discussion more easily and effectively. It balances the medical resource distribution inequality to some extent. According to specialty of the medical ultrasound test,the tele-ultrasound implementation situation,tele equipment features,ap-plication effect of tele-ultrasound in clinic and some typical cases in domestic environment are introduced.
