天然沉积结构性土的EOP压缩特性

通过对天然沉积原状土和重塑土进行不同排水距离的固结试验,研究了重塑土和原状土的EOP压缩性状,明确了两者性状不同的原因.对于天然沉积结构性土,当固结压力小于结构屈服压力时,土结构性抵抗了土体的变形趋势,蠕动变形甚微,排水路径对其主固结应变量影响不大;当土体处于临界屈服状态时,土结构性丧失,大孔隙坍塌,蠕动变形速率骤增,外加应力引起固结作用而产生的EOP变形量将由于土体较大的蠕变作用而对排水路径产生较大的依赖性,随着固结压力的增大,依赖性逐渐减弱.对于重塑土,排水路径和应力水平对EOP性状的影响规律与原状土屈服后的性状一致,但是由于其EOP压缩曲线位于原状土的下方,相同有效应力下具有较小的孔隙骨架,排水路径和应力水平对EOP性状的影响程度较原状土小.

A series of oedometer tests with different drain distances are performed on both undisturbed and remolded specimens with different thicknesses for natural clays.The behavior of EOP(end of primary consolidation) is investigated.The mechanism is also discussed for the difference in EOP behavior between undisturbed and remolded specimens.For natural clays,when the consolidation pressure is less than the consolidation yield stress,the effect of the length of the drainage path on the EOP deformation is not obvious because the creep can be neglected due to the resistance of the soil structure.However,the creep rate of the undisturbed sample increases dramatically in the vicinity of the consolidation yield stress.Hence,a long length of the drainage path results in large secondary deformation.With the increase in consolidation pressure,the effect of the drain length on the EOP behavior decreases.For remolded specimens,the EOP deformation behaves similarly to the undisturbed one when the stress is larger than the consolidation yield stress.But the effect extent of the drain length on EOP behavior is smaller than that for undisturbed specimens,because the void ratio of the former is less than that of the latter under the same stress level.
